Student Projects
At CamboVerse Center, we proudly support the Faculty of Digital Economy (FDE) by turning student creativity into impactful digital innovation. Every student journey begins with learning and evolves into real-world action through our Web 3.0 startup incubation program.
Starting in Year 1, Semester 2, all FDE students form teams with classmates to initiate Web 3.0-based projects. These projects are not just assignments, they are the seeds of future startups. Through structured guidance, mentorship, and collaboration, each team embarks on the development of an app or digital solution aligned with emerging technologies like blockchain, AI, and decentralized platforms.
Growing Ecosystem of Student Innovation
The number of student-led projects increases steadily each academic year. With 3 to 5 new projects added per generation, CamboVerse now supports 18 active student startups spanning sectors like tourism, environment, identity, fintech, health, education, and more. All projects incubated by the CamboVerse Center become part of the CamboVerse ecosystem, where they benefit from shared resources, collaboration opportunities, and continued support for growth and impact.
Here are some standout examples from our current ecosystem:
Support for Student Startups
CamboVerse Center acts as a full-service incubation hub, helping students turn ideas into fully developed projects. We provide:
Conceptualize Mentorship:
CamboVerse Center helps student teams turn raw ideas into purposeful projects by refining concepts, identifying real-world problems, defining audiences, and shaping sustainable tokenomics. We guide them to align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to ensure social impact and real-world relevance in the digital economy.
Technical Support:
Students receive hands-on assistance from our technical experts in areas such as blockchain development, smart contracts, and app design. This support empowers teams to overcome technical challenges and implement cutting-edge Web3 solutions with confidence and quality.
Traning and Resources in Web3:
We offer comprehensive training sessions, competition, and access to valuable resources focused on Web3 technologies, including blockchain, NFTs, decentralized finance, and more. These programs equip students with the latest industry knowledge and practical skills essential for innovation and entrepreneurship in the digital age.
Opportunities for Growth, Collaboration, and Investment:
CamboVerse connects student startups with a vibrant ecosystem of partners, and investors. Through pitch days, and collaborative projects, students gain opportunities to scale their ideas, secure funding, and build lasting partnerships that support long-term success.
Projects Incubated by Progress Stage
The 18 projects showcased are at various stages of development, reflecting a dynamic and evolving innovation ecosystem.
Ideation Stage:
where initial ideas are being shaped and explored, often focused on identifying real-world problems and potential blockchain-based solutions.
Whitepaper Stage:
where their concepts are being solidified into formal strategies, complete with technical documentation, use cases, and potential market impact.
MVP Stage:
having developed a functional prototype that demonstrates core features and is ready for early feedback.
Pilot Testing Stage:
where they are being trialed with real users in practical environments, gathering data and insights to optimize before full-scale deployment.
The following projects, conceptualized at the Faculty of Digital Economy and incubated by the CamboVerse Center, will serve as integral ecosystem partners for the CamboVerse initiative.
