Welcome to the CamboVerse Center

The CamboVerse Center, established on 11 July 2024 under the National University of Management (NUM) in Cambodia, serves two key purposes.

Building the CamboVerse

The first focus is building the CamboVerse, short for Cambodia Metaverse, which is a virtual world that showcases Cambodian culture, history, and heritage.

Key objective:

Prepare Cambodia for the Digital Future:

Equip Cambodia to embrace the metaverse and compete globally by developing local talent, platforms, and infrastructure for the next wave of digital innovation.

Preserve and Promote Khmer Culture with Technology:

Use VR, AR, Blockchain, and AI to protect and share Khmer culture and history in sustainable, engaging ways for global access and future generations.

Offer Immersive Experiences Across Key Sectors:

Enable users to learn, explore, enjoy, and do business in a virtual Cambodia, combining education, tourism, entertainment, and commerce in one platform.

Support Cultural Stakeholders Through Digital Economy:

Empower artists and cultural experts by turning traditions into NFTs (Metaverse assets), creating new income opportunities while preserving cultural heritage in digital form.

Empowering Cambodian Innovation: Web 3.0 Startup Incubation

CamboVerse Center is serving as a startup incubator. It helps young Cambodians develop skills in Web 3.0 technologies and build entrepreneurial mindsets.

Key objective:

Prepare Web 3.0 Startups for Cambodia:

Incubate youth-led startups in Web3 to tackle national challenges. Provide hands-on training and mentorship to develop entrepreneurial and technical skills.

Create a Web 3.0 Ecosystem for Startups:

Integrate incubated projects into the CamboVerse’s ecosystem to foster collaboration, resource sharing, and collective growth within a unified digital platform.

Align Projects with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

Guide startup initiatives to support Cambodia’s progress toward the UN SDGs by promoting solutions that address social, economic, and environmental challenges.

Promote an Inclusive Digital Economy:

Support different types of startup projects to meet the needs of various groups in society and ensure the digital economy is inclusive for everyone.
